N C Iris was commissioned by the new National College of Ireland when the College re-located to Dublin's Docklands in Mayor Square. The 14.5 metre-high sculpture is a landmark in the new civic space of Mayor Square. It utilises the moiré effects of specially designed stainless-steel as a canvas for changing coloured light which is computer controlled. The changes in lighting follow monthly changes throughout the year.

14.5 m x 2 m x 2m. Stainless steel and lighting.
